Audit Manager

RCO utilizes a risk-based audit methodology that requires our professionals to understand each client’s business and make a comprehensive assessment of business risks and how those risks affect the financial statements as well as our client’s operations.

Candidates for the manager position must be able apply a business advisory mindset to traditional audit services. Audit managers oversee multiple engagements and are responsible for the supervision and management of services to our clients, including developing audit procedures, setting budgets, scheduling audits, selecting staff and assigning workloads, and resolving accounting and reporting issues. RCO strives to provide exceptional service to its clients by utilizing a 5 Star Service model. Our managers are an integral part of this process.

Managers are expected to assist in the development of our professionals, including training, coaching, and providing career guidance. Managers are expected to be actively involved in business development. Candidates should have an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, must be certified, and have 6+ years of experience in public accounting.

Audit Senior

RCO utilizes a risk-based audit methodology that requires our professionals to understand each client’s business and make a comprehensive assessment of business risks and how those risks affect the financial statements as well as our client’s operations.

Candidates for this position must be able apply a business advisory mindset to traditional audit services. Audit seniors are responsible for coordinating the overall planning process and timing of audit fieldwork, performing audit procedures, documenting the results of those procedures and conclusions reached, supervising and reviewing the work of audit associates, interacting with client personnel throughout the audit, and identifying internal control recommendations. In addition, this position is required to research pertinent accounting matters and work closely with partners and managers to resolve any client issues. RCO strives to provide exceptional service to its clients by utilizing a 5 Star Service model. Our audit seniors are an integral part of this process.

Candidates should have an undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, must be a CPA or working to obtain CPA certification, and have one or more years of audit experience in a public accounting firm. Experience auditing non-profit organizations is preferred.
