History

RCO was formed in 1974 when the founding partners left positions with a national accounting firm to purchase a small accounting practice. The firm grew rapidly, becoming one of the largest local public accounting firms in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Today, RCO has a staff of approximately fifty people, serving a diverse group of clients with business operations in Texas and throughout the United States.

As a natural outgrowth of that commitment, and our desire to expand the resources available to our clients, RCO accepted an invitation to join the RSM US Alliance in 1995.

RSM US Alliance

Rylander, Clay & Opitz, LLP is proud to have been chosen to be a member of RSM US Alliance, a premier affiliation of independent accounting and consulting firms in the United States, with more than 75 members in over 38 states, the Cayman Islands and Puerto Rico. This affiliation gives us access to a full range of national and international capabilities. As a member of RSM US Alliance, Rylander, Clay & Opitz, LLP has access to the resources and services RSM provides its own clients. We accepted an invitation to become a member of RSM US Alliance because it is a natural fit with our commitment to our clients and our determination to stay at the forefront of developments affecting accounting and consulting firms today.

RSM US Alliance provides its members with access to resources of RSM US LLP (formerly known as McGladrey LLP), the leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market, with more than 8,000 people in 80 offices nationwide.
